Business Development Account Executive (2 open positions)

As an Account Executive, you will be the first point of contact for our prospects, responsible for establishing and managing relationships with security Executives in your territory. You will be the first impression and driving force behind Privva’s continued expansion. You’ll work closely with the CEO and Head of Commercial to play a leading role in refining and executing commercial strategy and expanding Privva’s reach, bringing a founder mentality and growth mindset to the team. Responsibilities:
  • Hold significant autonomy and accountability in bringing your opportunities through the pipeline from prospecting to closed-won

  • Foster new relationships with security Executives through your own outbound efforts and with the help of our SDR team

  • Collaborate with Leadership, Product and Client Success to ensure a world-class client experience

  • Contribute to the overall growth and development of Privva’s quickly growing commercial organization by relaying client feedback, testing outreach and demo strategies,  researching the market, and iterating on client-facing content

​Requirements:

  • 1 - 5 years experience in a quota carrying B2B sales function with a proven track record of high performance (we are looking for one AE in the 1 - 2 years of experience range and one AE in the 3 - 5 years of experience range)

  • A hunter mentality with the ability to prospect and generate your own demos

  • Ability to drive the sales cycle and manage stakeholders from champion to the C-level

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with time management, planning, and organization skills

  • Driven to exceed growth targets by operating with tenacity, thinking creatively to solve problems, and being committed to continuous development to hone client-facing skills

  • Perseveres through client unresponsiveness and rejection, with a focus on volume and high quality inputs to generate results

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Office suit

  • NYC Preferred but open to remote
