The Business Development Executive generates, qualifies, and develops new business with target organizations to meet or exceed sales goals. As a relationship-oriented sales executive, this position is responsible for generating new business opportunities

 

From fast-growing startups to Fortune 500 companies, you'll be the point person that helps companies take the next step towards a implementing or formalizing a comprehensive vendor risk management program.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage sales strategy in target market to meet company objectives

  • Manage all aspects of the account relationship in a hands-on manner – deliver sales and product demonstrations, and manage technical and commercial interactions

  • Effectively manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiating commercial agreements to closing the deal

  • Identify, develop & manage strategic partnerships and account relationships to penetrate, influence and drive sales and develop additional delivery capabilities

  • Deliver on assigned revenue targets in assigned accounts

  • Consistent communication with client to identify produce enhancements / modifications - effectively communicate with Technical Product Management teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years cybersecurity or risk management sales experience (to the enterprise level) required
  • Experience selling to financial services a plus
  • Consistent performance of exceeding sales goals and generating leads
  • Track record of lead generation and opening new accounts
  • Experience selling professional services, security audits and assessments a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit / Self-starter with time management, planning, and organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience required

  • Competitive base salary and commission compensation with potential ownership
